“Kill Any Fulani Herdsman You Find Around Me Or My Church” – Apostle Suleiman Tells Congregation

A video has emerged of fiery senior pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has emerged in which he asked his church members to deal ruthlessly with any Fulani herdsman whose mission is to attack him or the church.

The video that is currently trending online had Pastor Suleiman revealing to church members how someone called him and told him about a plan by some Fulani herdsmen to attack him either on the road or in his church.

Though it is not immediately known when he was recorded giving the instruction, some reports claim it was during the service of Sunday January 15th, 2017.

“Somebody called me and told me that there is a plan to send Fulani herdsmen after you and I said ok and the person said I should be careful and I said careful of what.

“He said the herdsmen are just going to run into the road like herdsmen and begin to cause confusion and while your security men clear them and you come out, they will open fire.

“I said okay. After about a week, he called me and said please, if you don’t do that, they might bring them to come around church premises. I said its okay. And I told my people, any Fulani herdsman you see around you, kill him.

“I have told them in the church here, that any fulani herdsman that just entered by mistake, Kill him, Kill Him. Cut his head. If they are busy killing christians and nothing is happening, we will kill them and nothing will happen,” he said in the video.

There had been continued attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the southern part of Kaduna with the governor declaring curfew at intervals.

Woman Killed In Accident In Lagos, Hours Before Traveling To America

Some people don’t know the need when you advise them to live right, until ‘something’ happens. We are in a world that anything can happen, at any time. Don’t get carried away!

A woman who was supposed to travel abroad today (Thursday) has tragically lost her life after she was hit by a speeding car.

She was killed in an early morning auto crash resulting from reckless driving in Lagos.

The Lagos Emergency Management Agency said that the accident occurred at about 2.30am around the Stadium Bus Stop in Surulere, Lagos.

The General Manager of LASEMA, Mr. Adesina Tiamiyu, said in his report that:
“A distress call was received via the state emergency Number 767/112 on Thursday, 19th January, 2017 at about 2.03 a.m. regarding an accident at Stadium Bus Stop inward Alaka Surulere.

“This prompted the immediate activation of the Agency’s Emergency Response Team to the scene of the incident.

“Preliminary investigation conducted by the agency’s team at the scene revealed that a black Camry car with Federal Capital Territory registration number, KUJ 412 AA ran into s slow moving trailer with registration number EKY 668 XL and loaded with granite.

“The immediate cause of the incident was attributed to reckless driving and speeding by the Camry car driver, who didn’t notice the slow moving truck driving inward Stadium Bus stop.

“He lost control and crashed into the truck.’’

According to Tiamiyu, a passerby who witnessed the accident says the yet to be identified lady, a middle age woman, was billed to travel to the U.S. on Thursday.

However, the driver of the Camry car, who was extricated from the mangled car by the Agency ERT sustained injuries and has been taken to the trauma centre by the Lagos State Ambulance Service officials.

Tiamiyu expressed dismay that officials of the agency who were at the scene for rescue were attacked by some youths during the rescue operation.

NAN reports that the Nigeria Police will carry out further investigation on the incident.

Finance minister, CBN gov explains way out of recession

The minister for finance, Kemi Adeosun and CBN Gov, Godwin Emefiele have revealed ways and plans of getting Nigeria out of economic recession.

The two made this known on Thursday in Abuja while speaking at the 14th Daily Trust Dialogue which had “Beyond recession: Towards a Resilient Economy” as theme.

Adeosun, said inability of Federal Government to generate enough revenue to meet its obligation left it with no choice than to borrow to finance critical projects.

She said that with a huge monthly personnel expenditure of N210 billion and debt service burden of N120 billion, it was difficult to generate enough revenue to meet the obligations and fund capital projects.

While many people have faulted the borrowing plan of the government which seeks to borrow 29.9 billion dollars from foreign sources, Adeosun said Nigeria must get the loan if it must survive the economic crisis.

“My requirement every month – salaries, statutory transfers – every month, I need N210 billion.

“Debt, not the debt that we are planning to take but inherited debt, I need N120 billion just to service it. So every month I need N330 billion.

“Now for FAAC (Federation Accounts Allocation Committee), shared between Federal, States and Local Government, I require without capital budget, just recurrent is N700 billion."

Adeosun lamented that had the country adopted the steps being taken now to reduce expenditure through efficiency in spending when oil price was about 110 dollars per barrel, the country could not have slipped into recession.

For a more prudent management of government revenues, she said that the ministry planned to have in future, a holistic budget, capturing all the revenue generating agencies, especially CBN, NDIC and NNPC.

“We are also trying to ensure compliance with the Fiscal Responsibility Act. The agencies that are still outside of government, their size of revenue is actually more than the federal budget.

“In fact, IMF did a survey which shows that it’s 120 per cent, the size of our entire budget.

“So in other words, there is a parallel budget sitting outside the budget. The CBN, NDIC and NNPC; they sit outside the budget and we need to bring them in.

“They have to become more accountable and so we are working on that.

“The National Assembly has given us the support of ensuring that if these agencies do not submit their budget, they will not be able to pay anything other than salaries.

“These agencies were set up to be revenue generating for the government but they have become revenue generating for themselves; we need that money to come back into the central budget,” she said.

Adeosun also said that the Federal Government was going to clear all backlog of payments owed to its contractors, going forward.

She attributed the high rate of non-performing loans in the banking industry to the huge contract sums owed by government to its contractors that had collected loans to finance these contracts.

“So, we are working with the CBN to issue a promissory note to clear the backlog. When we clear the backlog then we start afresh.

“If you get a government contract, these are your payment terms, and that will also give us lower pricing.

“What we have discovered is that because people feel that there is a risk that they may not be paid, they load the price of the contract,” she said.

In his presentation, CBN Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, said that providing the much-needed foreign exchange to the manufacturing sector and financing agriculture reforms would continue to be a priority of the bank.

“In the midst of low oil prices, heavily depleted reserves, what can we do? We can only but manage the limited resources and that is why we will continue to do our best.

“Our priority today would be Nigerian masses, Nigerians and no other person. Within the limited resources at our disposal, we will continue to give emphasis to those who want to import raw materials.

“We will give emphasis to those who want to deploy plants and equipment that will help this country.

“We will direct support and emphasis to those who are going into agriculture, who are importing agricultural raw materials and implements because we love our country,” he said.

Also, Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said that diversification was still an important element in re-inflating the economy.

“Our future does not lie in the rising oil price but in the capacity we have for discipline, for planning and to actually look at the economy no longer from a mono-cultural perspective but from a diversified perspective.

“It is interesting to know that that oil is responsible for about 90 to 95 per cent of our foreign earnings, yet it produces less than 10 per cent employment.

“So, the take-away is that there is no substitute in a modern economy for diversification, because diversification is what will help us grow our income and create a better middle class,” he said.

Beware! Bats now feed on human blood - Study reveals

A new study published in December in the journal Acta Chiropterologica and first reported in New Scientist finds that the bats have started to feed on human blood, something scientists didn't even think was possible.

As people have started to move into the Caatinga dry forests of northeastern Brazil, they've been cutting down trees and hunting the tinamou and guan birds these bats would normally drain for a meal.

So a group of researchers from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco in Recife, Brazil, decided to test the bats' feces to see what they'd been eating as their normal meal sources disappeared, thinking they may have decided to turn to the animals that humans bring with them.

The authors of the study write that they wanted to know "how the species would behave in a situation of scarcity of wild birds and increase in the availability of domestic animals."

DNA analysis showed they'd been consuming chicken blood — not a big surprise. But it also showed that the bats had been preying on humans.

"We were quite surprised," Enrico Bernard, who led the study, told Sandrine Ceurstemont of New Scientist. "This species isn't adapted to feed on the blood of mammals."

Ceurstemont writes that the bats "are adapted to process fat, the main component of bird blood, as opposed to the thicker, high-protein blood of mammals."

As a dietary change, this isn't just creepy. Bats have a remarkable capacity to carry viruses that can be deadly to humans. In northeast Brazil, similar cases have led to rabies outbreaks in the past.

In 2005, deforestation and human movement led another sort of vampire bat (pictured above) to bite more than 1,000 people, infecting a number with rabies and causing at least 23 deaths.

The hairy-legged vampire bat has been known to carry the deadly hantavirus, according to New Scientist.

Gambia's president Jammeh declares state of emergency

With just two days left in office, Gambia's President, Yahya Jammeh has declared a national state of emergency.

The announcement of the state of emergency is coming hours after Gambia's ministers for finance, foreign affairs, trade and the environment resigned from Jammeh's government.
Just in: Gambia's president Jammeh declares a state of emergency

Jammeh in a national TV address on Tuesday, January 17, said that the 90-day measure was necessary because of "the unprecedented and extraordinary amount of foreign interference" in a December 1 presidential vote, which he lost to opposition leader Adama Barrow.

The former coup leader also cited external interference "the internal affairs of The Gambia and the unwarranted hostile atmosphere threatening the sovereignty, peace, security and stability of the country".

The state of emergency bans "acts of disobdience" and "acts intended to disturb public order".

According to Al Jazeera's Nicolas Haque, "The decision to declare a state of emergency was taken by the national parliament that convened secretly."

"What this means is that all land, sea and air borders will be shut down. Gambia, as of right now, is effectively on lockdown."

Jammeh who has ruled the small West African country since 1994, initially conceded defeat but a week later contested the poll's results stating irregularities.

He is refusing to step down despite international pressure and the threat by other West African nations of a military intervention.

Last week, Sheriff Bolang, the country’s information minister resigned and fled over the refusal of Jammeh to step down after his defeat in the December, 2016 poll.

Nigeria spent N2billion to fuel fighter jets for 2,105 missions against Boko Haram – Air Force

The Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command Nurudeen Balogun of the Nigerian Air Force on Monday, January 16 in Yola, Adamawa state said the force flew 6773 hours in 2,105 missions and 3,534 sorties in its operations in the North-East of the country in 2016.

The officer said this while briefing the Federal Government team and representatives of Bring Our Girls Back (BBOG) on tour of the North-East.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, and his Defense counterpart Mansur Dan-Alli led the team.

Balogun, who is an Air Vice Mashal, also said that the force used over N2 billion for Jet A1 fuel for aircraft.

He further disclosed that the N2 billion excludes the cost of maintenance and consumables during the period.

“A total of 348 sorties were generated by the air component for the operation that led to the capture of Alargano, the supposedly spiritual headquarters of Boko Haram.

“The intensity of the operation of crackdown forced some breakaway groups of the Boko Haram insurgents to move towards the far North.

“The Multi-national Joint Task Force initiated Operation Gama Aiki and very important location, Malamfatori, was captured on Sept. 27, 2016,” he said.

On the other hand, the Air Component Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole Charles Owoh noted that compared to only one in July 2015, not less than five serviceable surveillance aircrafts were now operational.

This, he said, is as a result of government’s commitment to ending insurgency in the region

Meanwhile, pilots have opened up for the first time about their roles in the war against terrorism ravaging the Northern part of the country

According to some of the pilots, the Boko Haram terrorists are seen as a group of nuisance requiring unnecessary attention.

Security Operatives Intercept 2 Trucks With 145 Children

The Plateau State police command said it has intercepted two trucks carrying 145 children from Bauchi, Gombe and Jigawa states. According, a statement issued by the public relations officer, Terna Tyopev, the driver, conductor and all accomplices will be charged to court.

The statement said the children, who are all male, were being taken to places unknown to even the coordinators of the movement.

The PPRO added that the children, aged between four to eight years, were to be shared to Plateau, Kaduna and Nasarawa states.

Tyopev said the police were liaising with the Plateau chapter of Jama’atul Nasril Islam and other critical stakeholders, to establish contact with the two state governments for the return of the children to their parents.

The police said it would charge those behind the action to court to serve as a deterrent to others.

“This trend, if not checked, will cause embarrassment to Plateau, north central and the nation at large,” he added.

It urged the public to be vigilant and report the presence of strange children in their environment.

Buhari asked to pay pension to officers of the Biafra war

Servicemen who fought in the Biafra war have asked that the Buhari-led government pay them pension for services rendered in those years.
Pressure! Buhari asked to pay pension to officers of the Biafra war

Pressure! Buhari asked to pay pension to officers of the Biafra war

The civil war officers who voluntarily retired or were discharged from service under the 1976 – 1979 military administration, say they want their 38 years pension arrears paid.

Vanguard reports that the group made the demand in a statement signed by its National Coordinator, retired Sgt. Kasali Busari and made available in Ibadan on Tuesday.

The Group of Able Voluntary Retired or Discharged T Years and Above Military Service decried the non payment of their military pension benefit from 1978 till date.

They referred to the Federal Military Government circular No 4/1977, dated March 30, 1977, which qualified them as payable pensioners.

“The First Republic of Nigeria 1963 (intake) officers and other ranks with the service of 10 years and less than 15 years are eligible to be paid.

“They deserved to be paid pension at the rate of 30 percent of terminal salary or 40 percent in the case of armed forces personnel,” the group quoted .

The group said that their representations to several governments over the years had not yielded positive results.

The statement said that the group was awaiting the payment of their pension, having been incorporated in the 2015 general military pensions verification exercise under President Muhammadu Buhari.

“We are group of the first republic of Nigeria 1963 (intake) that practically prosecuted the past Nigeria and defunct Biafra civil war between 1967 and 1970 respectively.

“We thereafter voluntarily retired or discharged from 1978 to 1992 in accordance with the past federal military government regime from 1976 to 1979 published circular No 4/1977 dated 30th March 1977,” it said.

The statement added: “The circular indicated that when such officers served for 10 years or more but less than 15 years, they will be paid a pension at the rate of 30 percent of terminal salary (40 percent in the case of Armed Forces personnel).

“Majority of the 1963 (intake) that actively prosecuted the past Nigeria and defunct biafra civil war already qualified as payable pensioners from 1978 till date.”

“After we were retired or discharged under the protected FMG published circular and decree of 1977 and 1979 respectively, we were not paid our military pension benefit.”

The statement said that the first republic of Nigeria 1963 (intake) officers and other ranks with the service of above ten years and less than 15 years in the Nigeria Armed Forces had not been paid their military pension. It stated that they have not been paid after the general military pensions verification exercise for the past twelve months.

“It will be unfortunate to subject these courageous citizens to untold hardship in their old age when as a matter of law, the right to receive pension is guaranteed by the provision of the section 173 of the 1999 constitution,” the group said.

Jigawa Assembly impeaches speaker

Speaker of the Jigawa state House of Assembly Idris Garba has been impeached.

It was gathered that members of the House impeached him this morning, January 3, and elected Alhaji Isa Idris as new speaker.

Garba’s impeachment makes him the third speaker to lose his post in recent days across Nigeria.

Last week, Abia state House of Assembly impeached a speaker Martins Azubuike but his replacement Kennedy Njoku resigned 24 hours after.

In Rivers state, the speaker Adams Dabotorudima also stepped down by ‘political arrangement’ for a new one.

CBN Extends Stamp Duty Collection To Savings Accounts

Banks are no longer restricting the deduction of stamp duty on deposits made into current accounts, but now apply it to deposits made into savings accounts, investigation has shown.

The Central Bank of Nigeria had through a circular issued on January 15, 2016 directed the Deposit Money Banks to deduct N50 stamp duty on each deposit made into current accounts with a value of N 1000 and above in order to boost government’ s revenue drive and in compliance with Stamp Duties Act, 2004.

The apex bank anchored its directive on a court ruling obtained by Kasmal International Services Limited in 2014 to the effect that the 22 banks operating in the country should remit more than N 6 tn to the Nigerian Postal Services through the company as the stamp duty they were supposed to have collected since the Stamp Duties Act was passed into law.

However , the CBN exempted savings accounts from the deduction of stamp duty .

The circular stated, “ With immediate effect , all DMBs and other financial institutions shall commence the charging of N50 per eligible transaction in accordance with the provisions of the Stamp Duties Act and the Federal Government’ s Financial Regulations 2009 ; that is, all receipts given by any bank or other financial institution in acknowledgement of services rendered in respect of electronic transfers and teller deposits from N1,000 and above.

“ For the avoidance of doubt, the following receipts are , however , exempted from the imposition of stamp duties : payment deposits or transfers by self to self , whether inter or intra bank; and any form of withdrawals / transfers from savings accounts. ”

Investigation by our correspondent, however , showed that the banks had extended the deduction of the stamp duty to savings account transactions.

It was gathered that the Nigerian Postal Services , the implementation agency of the Stamp Duties Act, was against the exemption of any bank account except savings accounts held by children.

It was not clear as of press time when the collection of the duty was extended to savings accounts, but some bankers who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity said the only exemption were deposits made by the owners of savings accounts.

This means that when a third party makes a deposit into a savings account with a value of at least N1, 000 , the sum of N50 is automatically deducted as stamp duty, which the bank has a responsibility to transfer to the NIPOST Stamp Duty Account domiciled with the CBN.

The Lagos Division of the Appeal Court had ruled that imposing a stamp duty on electronic transactions was illegal.

Ruling on an appeal filed by Standard Chartered Bank against Kasmal International Services Limited and 22 others, Justice Ibrahim Saulawa and four other justices of the Court of Appeal , Lagos Judicial Division , held that the Stamp Duties Act, 2004 did not impose a duty on the DMBs to deduct N 50 on bank deposits .

Buhari kicks-off N5000 monthly payment to 1 million impoverished Nigerians

The Federal Government (FG) has started disbursing the N5000 stipend which was promised to poor Nigerians by President Muhammadu Buhari.

One million most vulnerable Nigerians will be rewarded with a N5,000 monthly stipend through the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) of its Social Investment Programmes (SIP).

The Tribune reports that, the presidency announced that the Federal Government has begun the payment.

Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and publicity to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo disclosed that the implementation of the programme was part of the Muhammadu Buhari administration’s determined efforts to touch the lives of Nigerians positively.

“Funds for the commencement of the payments in four states were released last week to the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) – the platform that hosts and validates payments for all government’s social intervention programmes. Funds for another set of five states to complete the first batch of nine states would follow soon,” he revealed.

The statement said beneficiaries in Borno, Kwara and Bauchi states have started receiving the money under the first batch, which also includes Cross Rivers, Niger, Kogi, Oyo, Ogun and Ekiti states.

The nine pilot states were reportedly chosen because they have existing social registers that successfully identified the most vulnerable and poorest Nigerians through a tried and tested community based targeting (CBT) method working with the World Bank.

“Those states are featured in the first batch, with the added inclusion of Borno State where a validated list of IDPS was compiled in addition to the Social Register, which is expected to go round the country.

“Working with the World Bank, the CBT process has now been adopted for developing the Social Register in the other states around the country, for transparency, objectivity and credibility in the selection of the poorest and most vulnerable beneficiaries for the programme,” the statement read.

The statement, also revealed that the sequence for the payment of the money would be operationally managed by NIBSS.

In a similar vein, the FG has started the payment of N30,000 monthly stipends for beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme, the job creation programme of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Laolu Akande, the senior special assistant, media and publicity, office of the vice-president, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday, December 30, stating that: “all successfully verified beneficiaries who have provided bank accounts are being processed for payment’’.

According to him “some beneficiaries will receive their first stipends on December 30.’’

What Nigerians should expect from N’Assembly in 2017 - Saraki

The Senate president said the federal lawmakers would focus on making more laws that will promote the economy, enhance the budget process and support the fight against corruption.

According to Today, Dr. Saraki gave this indication while speaking with State House correspondents after his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja yesterday.

Saraki said: “In 2017, our attention will be on the economy because that is really a major issue for us as a country. We want to see some of the economic bills put forward passed, to see that there is greater improvement in the budget process in 2017, and to see that the government implements the budget early.”

“Also, one of our pet projects is made-in-Nigeria products. We want to see that government continues to support Nigerians in this area so that we can begin to cushion the difficult times Nigerians are going through.”

“So, next year is very important to us and I think, on the part of National Assembly, we will continue to give our support to ensure that the right things are done,” he said.

He further noted that the senators achieved more in the last three months than they did in the entire year, adding that the National Assembly is settling down and, as such, Nigerians would see many more bills passed for the president to assent, as reported by Today.

On the president’s signing of 17 bills into law, Saraki said, “It shows, in part, what we have been able to do in the National Assembly and there are many more bills to come and the president is also responding to them. You are going to see more of that in 2017; there are a lot of bills lined up.”

Election will hold in Anambra this year and WIllie Obiano is expected to seek re-election

Among the aspirants on the platform of the APC are Chief Obinna Uzor, Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, Mr Tony Nwoye, Mr Donatus Okonkwo, Chief George Muoghalu and Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.

But the party said it has not anointed any of the aspirants for the election which will hold in November 2017.

Chairman of the party in the state, Mr Emeka Ibe, announced that no candidate had been endorsed while speaking Awka, the capital of the state.

“The number of people that you see today coming into the party is an indication that APC is the party to beat in 2017 Anambra governorship election.

“In APC, we have a history and culture of fairness and transparency.

“The assurance I am giving to them is that there will not be an anointed candidate.

“If you join the party today, you have equal status with members who were on ground during the time of the merger.

“The only people we do not want are those who would create problems. We want people who would support President Mohammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption programme,” the chairman said as reported by Daily Trust.

Ibe said more than 10 aspirants had so far indicated interest.

He said: “We are in touch with serving legislators at state and National Assemblies as well as serving commissioners, who have indicated interest to join the party.

“What it shows is that APC has become the number one party that will take over the seat of power in the state in 2017.”

5) False prophets/churches will be closed down. The judgement of God Almighty is coming down on the church this year. God has heard the cries of the innocent. False men of God will die this year.

6) God told me that, the year 2017 will be the best year for Nigerians. It will be so easy to buy houses, land, cars and such for the righteous. There would be so much wealth for them.

7) The new president of America needs to pray. I see an assassination attempt against his life. In addition, serious disagreements between him and members of his parliament would happen because of his style of administration.

MMM Sets New Date To Unfreeze Accounts

The anxiety amongst participants of the famous money-doubling scheme, Mavrodi Mundial Movement, (MMM) has continued as the scheme has set a new date for when it will unfreeze all confirmed Mavros of members.

MMM Nigeria has disclosed that participants accounts will be unfrozen on January 14, 2017.

Recall that the scheme had on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, froze all confirmed Mavros, otherwise known as money due for withdrawal for one month.

That action meant that all the accounts of members who are due to be paid after having ‘provided help’ (PH) to another person since the last month have been frozen and hence, have no access to request for payment, known as ‘Get Help’ (GH) until after one month.

Some participate had thought that the due date for their account to be unfrozen was on 13 of January 2017, but the scheme on its official Twitter handle
@MMMNigeriaHelp has disclosed that participants accounts will be unfrozen on January 14, 2017.

We promised that our participants’ confirmed Mavros will be unfrozen (ability to make withdrawal) from January 14th, 2017. #12DaysToGo — MMM Nigeria Support (@MMMNigeriaHelp) January 2, 2017

Meanwhile, some Nigerians have accused the federal government of investing in the popular Ponzi scheme, MMM, following reports of scarcity of small naira denominations in the country.

The accusations surfaced after sources in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) disclosed to the media that the apex bank failed to print small naira denominations for about a year due to the current economic recession.

CBN to eliminate forex black market

Nigeria's finance minister, Mrs Kemi Adeosun has assured that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will completely eliminate black market Bureau De Change operators.

Adeosun made the disclosure at the Special Town Hall Meeting for youths organised by the ministry of information and culture at the Presidential Villa, Abuja today, December 20.

Her words: ''CBN has promised to do something by putting a system in place to eliminate the black market because it's damaging the economy.''

A month ago, the Department of State Security (DSS) began a clampdown on unlicensed operators of BDCs selling foreign currencies above the official rate.

Illegal operators in Lagos, Abuja and Kano have so far been whisked away by operatives of the secret police acting on the orders of the federal government.

A few days after the operation, the naira strengthened against the dollar prompting calls for the DSS to intensify its operations.

Meanwhile, the CBN has urged the DSS to continue the raids, adding that Nigeria's laws forbids trafficking in currency.
